  4. You have received a DEVELOPMENT VERSION of my upcoming game 'Final Frontier'.
  5. You may use this version at your own risk and free of charge. Note, however,
  6. that this version is not supported. Please do *not* report any bugs you may
  7. find in this version.

  20. Requirements
  21. ============
  22. This version of Final Frontier requires an FPU and a 68020 or above. If your
  23. 030 runs under 50 MHz or your 040 under 20 MHz you will have speed problems.

  25. 256 Colors/grays required

  27. The limitation on stereo hardware has been dropped (i.e. FF now runs even
  28. if you don't have it).

  30. Oh, and you must be running System 7 or above.

  32. Why distributing a pre-release version of Final Frontier?
  33. =========================================================
  34. Well, actually there are two reasons for releasing it: 
  35. First, I want to show everyone what direction the project is taking and
  36. how far down the road we are with Final Frontier. And then the alpha test
  37. ftp site is down for the moment, I can give my alpha testers access to
  38. a newer version than they have.

  42. Since our alpha site is down, please use this version until the site comes
  43. online again. When it does, the site contains the real (and maybe updated) 
  44. manual plus an updater for the 0.1.1 version.
